This saucepan is suitable for all hob types, including induction and is oven safe up to 240°C/gas mark 9. This saucepan has straining lids for effortless draining.Instructions for Induction Hob Use:Choose the correct pan size for each surface cooking area. The diameter of the pan’s base should be equal to the size of the surface cooking area. If the pan size does not match up to the surface cooking area, the surface cooking area does not sense the pan and will not activate.

I already have several of these pans which I like particularly because they are deep. The larger ones are heavy so be warned if like me you have weak wrists. I also wanted another 16cm to match my set but these no longer seem to be available which is very disappointing

I bought this pan because I have a new ceramic hob. The hob does mark but probably not because of the pan. The pan lid has useful draining holes and if turned upside down you can store another pan on top. The nonstick seems very good.

It struggles to heat up quickly on the larger rings of our induction hob for some reason (I have smaller pans that work fine). Once it gets going, it’s fine.

Straight sides means greater volume than many other 18cm pans. Only used a few times but seems robust and non-stick works
